More December Daily pages ready to go and fill up with fun memories. This is mostly October Afternoon Eggnog, with a bit of Pink Paislee and my own doo-dads thrown in.
I've got two different albums going in December, one the girls can have and one I'll keep, both different styles, and working on a Crate mini album of a bunch of miscellaneous pictures - I'll be busy forever!
So I'm going to do a December Daily this year. I should have made it easy and bought a kit, but wanted I loved so many Christmas lines, I cherry picked from lots of them instead. Will be a real mish-mash for sure! So far, it's feeling kind of '60s modern/mall decoration feel to me :)
I need to get two more binder rings, well, four more that are much bigger than I bought. The ornament on page one is one I made a few years ago. When we moved from NC to Texas, all of our Christmas things were lost in the move and we didn't notice until it was too late. So I try making some new ones each year. This one used a big snowflake rub-on, "I believe" and some rhinestones. I loved that wild, spikey, beady ornament on the gold transparency and had to put it in the book as well. Would love to see your DD covers as you get them done!
Loved this picture of my oldest with two of her friends at school on '80s day. They're supposed to be in Anatomy class, but doesn't look like much learning is going on :) Loving the new Prima The Optimist line.
I'm definitely doing Project Life my own way, and sometimes different each time. Instead of a week in review, I loved these pictures so much I just used the two-page spread to document one day. It's one of our last family vacations while Sara is still living at home before college, so I want to remember every little bit :) And Emily's not far behind her! I used Dear Lizzy as well as some Crate Paper. Wish you could see the dark picture better. We would go crabbing at night, not to catch them, but to just find them. They were so little and cute - this guy in the picture with the flashlight was the cutest of the bunch :) Oh, and I've been using the HSN overlays in white like crazy too. Love those.
Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a great Wednesday!
Loving the new Teresa Collins line, You Are My Happy! The paper is baby pink and has gold foiled hearts - so cute. The bow isn't that orange in real life - it's sprayed with gold and pink. Hmm. Hope you had a happy Halloween!
So this was my first Project Life spread, and the post below was my second. This was the first week of school, so lots of cheer stuff going on, so lots of cheer pictures! Pep Rally on the first day, how they looked the first day of school when they went in uniform. During this week, Sara had 102 temp. with what we found out was a kidney infection. During one of the pep rallies, she warmed up her back handsprings into a tuck and that didn't mix well with pain medication and not feeling well. She made it through the first part, then had to go sit on the sidelines for the rest - poor kid! Then it shows her at the end of the week feeling better. That weekend, my sister called and couldn't use their Cowboy tickets to the season opener. She was awesome enough to give them to us. Matt and Emily went out and got matching jerseys, so there's a picture of that. The tag from the jersey is on the page with the price, and a picture of Emily at the game. Oh, and a chicken dish that everyone actually loved, so had to get a picture of that new recipe :) Used the PL Midnight Edition - love the black, grey, white and yellow in it. These pictures are all out of order and I can't figure out how to move them around properly, but you get the idea!
So I didn't think I would get into the Project Life thing, but decided it would be quick and easy for lots of cheer pictures. Then I decided I like doing a summary of the week with just regular, everyday stuff, too. Love the Dear Lizzy Polka Dot Party and Midnight kit...
I'll text the girls sweet/cute pictures sometimes during the day, so thought I would include a couple of them here for them to remember one day. The girls both started new jobs, then a couple of before school and after school shots, and some funny pictures we texted to DH while we were at the craft store :)
Have a great week!
I've discovered The Mom Creative with links to other project life folks, can't wait to look through it! Here's the link: The Mom Creative Project Life
Thanks again to A Cherry On Top for allowing me to be the guest designer this month! Got these cute Jillibean Soup diecuts and title from their border paper and paired them up with some I Heart Summer cloud paper, Crate Sleigh Ride letters and Studio Calico Atlantic vellum. And added a little grass cut on the Silhouette. Hope everyone has a great Tuesday! And thanks again ACOT!
Good Monday morning! Had a good college visit for my girls to Texas State and did a little river tubing. Felt weird not to take my camera on the river and missed out on a lot of pretty pictures! Here's one of my latest pages - I found an older picture of the girls heading into the waves with a friend and liked how you can just see them running in :) Thank you to A Cherry on Top for the products and being their guest designer this month! Come over to do this mixed border challenge - would be great to see you there!
I never do two-pagers, but I need to start. I'm definitely going to start a Project Life type of album for cheer pictures and special occasions. Anyway, two-pager today with The Pier of my Emily over the years at the beach. She's growing up, so I have been going back and looking at her younger pictures often - sniff sniff. Thanks for A Cherry on Top for having me as a guest designer for their product this month. Here's the first layout for them:
